ANHRI slams draft law to ban protests in Egypt

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information has said that a new law passed by Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawy’s government to ban protests is similar to legislation drafted under “Hosni Mubarak’s oppressive state”.

Journalist, minors, from Syrian embassy clashes, released - ANHRI

Egyptian authorities decided on Wednesday to release a journalist from Fagr newspaper and two minors who were detained on Tuesday during confrontations between protesters and security forces near the Syrian embassy in Cairo, the Arab Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI) reported.
