HRW sheds light on abuses inside al-Aqrab prison
HRW said that political prisoners held in al-Aqrab are repeatedly subjected to abuse by prison authorities, which led to a number of deaths.

Rightists question effectiveness of planned inspection visits to Aqrab prison
Rights activists were quick to call out on Wednesday the "uselessness" of the latest prison inspection visit made by the state-affiliated National Human Rights Council, because the ministry of interior had decided on its date.
